This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Supervise the performance of various environmental projects and portfolios.
• Ensure the attainment of both internal and client-facing KPIs and project objectives.
• Engage with clients and lead or assist in business development initiatives.
• Guide and shape solutions and strategies for remediation portfolios.
• Manage projects, oversee data analysis and reporting, and direct site remediation strategies until completion.
• Collaborate in technical discussions with project team members.
• Comply with AECOM’s Quality Management System standards.
• Collaborate with state agencies to establish risk-based remediation goals.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams.
• Develop effective solutions to client challenges and issues.
• Review program/project dashboards and conduct deep dives to identify issues and enhance performance.
• Streamline workflows and implement digital tools.
• Incorporate global resources into project delivery and manage associated changes.
• Expand current portfolios through effective project delivery and client relationship management.
• Enhance business performance and ensure the achievement of internal KPIs.
• Assist with pricing guidance, approval frameworks, and maintaining sales pipeline accuracy.
• Contribute to proposal development efforts.
• Address project issues and recommend solutions related to resourcing, technical aspects, invoicing, cash collection, subcontractor, and vendor matters.
• Foster relationships across client organizations.
• Assign work tasks and evaluate staff performance.
• Advocate for health and safety stewardship, including conducting local field visits.
• BA/BS in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or a related discipline, with four years of relevant work experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Possession of a valid Driver's License and the ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• US citizenship or permanent residency is mandatory.
• Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Willingness to travel is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience is preferred.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) designation is preferred.
• Proven experience in conducting and managing investigations/remediation of chemical, industrial, or refining sites is preferred.
• Previous leadership and/or management experience is preferred.
• A Master's Degree in Geology, Engineering, Science, or a related field is a plus.
• Outstanding client management, organizational, verbal, written, editing, and reporting capabilities.
• Experience in managing teams and scheduling staff and resources for timely and budget-conscious delivery.
• Proficient in preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
• Strong project management, business analytics, strategic, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in leading Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessments, and Treatability Studies.
