This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Mexico.
• Supervise the performance of project groups and portfolios to meet internal and client-focused KPIs and objectives.
• Engage with clients and take the lead or assist in pursuing business development initiatives.
• Drive and shape solutions and strategies for remediation portfolios.
• Oversee project management, direct data analysis and reporting, and guide site remediation strategies to completion.
• Collaborate in technical discussions with members of the project team.
• Comply with AECOM’s Quality Management System during project and portfolio execution.
• Work with state agencies to establish favorable risk-based remediation objectives.
• Maintain communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal project teams.
• Create solutions for client challenges and concerns.
• Participate in project evaluations, dashboards, and in-depth reviews to identify problems and enhance performance.
• Streamline workflows and implement digital tools.
• Incorporate global resources into project delivery and manage related changes.
• Expand portfolios through effective project delivery and fostering client relationships.
• Propel business performance and achieve internal KPI goals.
• Assist with pricing strategies, approval processes, and ensuring sales pipeline accuracy.
• Contribute to proposal development efforts.
• Raise project concerns and recommend improvements, including aspects related to resourcing, technical issues, invoicing, cash collection, subconsultant, and vendor matters.
• Establish and nurture relationships across client organizations.
• Delegate work assignments and evaluate staff performance.
• Advocate for health and safety practices, including local field visits.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, or a related field, along with four years of pertinent work experience, or a proven equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Capability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.
• Sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
• Willingness to travel is necessary.
• Over 10 years of overall professional experience is preferred.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is preferred.
• Documented experience in conducting and managing investigations/remediations for chemical, industrial, or refining sites.
• Prior leadership and/or management experience is essential.
• A Master's Degree in Geology, Engineering, Science, or a related field is advantageous.
• Exceptional client management capabilities are required.
• Strong organizational, communication, writing, editing, and reporting skills are necessary.
• Experience in managing and scheduling staff and resources to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Proficient in preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders.
• Strong project management skills with a strategic outlook.
• Business analytics and organizational skills are vital.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are necessary.
• Experience leading Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessments, and Treatability Studies is required.
