Deputy General Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Assist the General Manager in providing an exceptional catering and hospitality experience.

• Inspire, motivate, and nurture the team to foster a positive and high-achieving work environment.

• Adopt a visible, hands-on approach by supporting operations during peak service times and events.

• Plan, organize, and execute various events from inception to completion.

• Uphold high standards for food presentation, service quality, and customer satisfaction.

• Establish strong connections with clients, customers, and key stakeholders.

• Assist in team training, development, and performance management.

• Contribute to the financial success of the contract by identifying sales opportunities and controlling costs.

• Ensure compliance with cleanliness, food safety, health and safety, and operational standards.

• Adapt to evolving operational demands and customer requirements.

• Promote ongoing improvement in catering, hospitality, and event services.

• Prior management or supervisory experience in catering, hospitality, or a similar fast-paced setting.

• Strong background in event management.

• A true passion for food, service, and enhancing the customer experience.

• A visible, hands-on leadership approach.

• Capability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.

• A commercial perspective and attention to detail.

• Confidence in building strong relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues.
