This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, secure, and expand complex, multi-year collaborations with key corporate and civil society partners, utilizing philanthropic grants, customer fundraising, employee engagement, and/or other shared value initiatives, aiming to raise $1.5–2M annually.
• Create a network of essential corporate and civil society contacts at all levels, including senior leadership, across various functions to enhance the team pipeline and acquire new accounts.
• Negotiate the terms and contracts of partnerships with vital internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct meetings and coordinate with corporate and civil society partners, UNICEF international colleagues, Program Division, and other departments within UNICEF USA.
• Generate innovative ideas to create new revenue streams and develop engaging presentations and proposals.
• Act as the primary liaison with prospects, coordinating both internal and external resources to ensure the successful execution of proposals and the achievement of partner and UNICEF objectives.
• Lead or engage in special projects and relevant working group meetings as a representative of the Corporate and Civil Society Partnerships Team.
• Bachelor’s degree with 6–8 years of experience in partnership development, sales, or strategic partnerships; a combination of corporate and non-profit experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in managing strategic partnerships.
• Strong relationship-building skills and experience in partnership management.
• Proven ability to drive revenue growth and identify and pursue new opportunities.
• Capability to build relationships with individuals of diverse personalities and backgrounds at various levels of seniority, from assistants to C-level executives.
• Competence in developing and executing a business or account plan that includes goals, metrics, strategies, and tactics.
• Ability to manage multiple investments with several large, complex companies simultaneously.
• Skillful in leading both internal and external meetings effectively.
• Experience with integrated marketing programs (digital/social media, PR, marketing collateral, etc.) aimed at different consumer and corporate audiences.
• Understanding and experience in developing and enhancing shared value partnerships.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks while meeting multiple deadlines.
• Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills; adept at collecting, analyzing, organizing, distilling, and presenting information effectively.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Self-driven; capable of leading projects independently from inception to completion.
• Willingness to travel to domestic and international developing country locations.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Word.
