Deployment Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Take charge of onboarding and deployment for key accounts, creating adoption strategies with defined success metrics.

• Serve as the primary technical contact for compliance, investigations, and executive stakeholders.

• Conduct product training sessions, workshops, and enablement activities.

• Convert customer workflows and challenges into solution designs, integrations, and platform setups.

• Track usage and engagement patterns to uncover expansion possibilities and early signs of churn, taking action on both.

• Collaborate with Sales on renewals, growth, and account strategy, playing a key role in retention and development goals.

• Work alongside Support, Product, and Engineering teams to address escalations and funnel structured field feedback into the product roadmap.

• Represent Chainalysis at industry events, customer forums, and regional conferences.

• Contribute to team playbooks and documentation initiatives.

• Assist Chainalysis, a blockchain data platform, in aiding organizations to investigate illicit activities, manage risk exposure, and create market solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in customer-facing roles within a high-growth technology firm, encompassing customer success, solutions architecture, presales, technical account management, or enterprise consulting.

• Proven history of managing enterprise accounts and guiding senior and executive stakeholders through intricate, multi-month deployments.

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain concepts, including transactions, wallets, exchanges, and stablecoins.

• Understanding of the intersection between blockchain technology and AML, compliance, or investigative processes.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Professional proficiency in English.

• Comfortable working with APIs, data analysis, and logic-based workflows, both with and without AI agents.

• Capability to work independently in a dynamic, uncertain environment while demonstrating a high level of ownership.

• Direct experience in financial crime, AML/CFT, fraud, law enforcement, or financial regulation is a plus.

• Practical experience with blockchain intelligence or analytics tools is a plus.

• Relevant certifications such as CAMS or CCI are advantageous.

• Experience in supporting public sector clients or financial institutions in Africa is beneficial.

• Proficiency in an additional European or Arabic language is a plus.

• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Johannesburg.

• Must possess the necessary permits/authorization to work in the specified location.

• No relocation expenses will be covered.
