Deployment Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with customers to gain insight into their operations and provide effective AI solutions from the outset.

• Implement, integrate, and support Avoca's voice agent products within intricate customer infrastructures.

• Develop and sustain the backend infrastructure for conversational AI, including APIs, integrations, monitoring systems, and feedback mechanisms.

• Troubleshoot production issues and conduct root-cause analysis across distributed systems, APIs, and workflows powered by LLMs.

• Convert business needs into technical architectures and execution strategies.

• Recognize deployment trends and contribute insights to the product development roadmap.

• Oversee and enhance product performance in production while engaging with LLMs and distributed systems.

• Articulate complex technical challenges to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Create documentation for solutions, best practices, and troubleshooting procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in software engineering, with a preference for backend or systems-oriented roles.

• Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with TypeScript or JavaScript is advantageous.

• Practical experience with microservices architecture, APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, networking, and distributed systems.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Proven experience in diagnosing and debugging production systems and integration environments.

• Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in customer-facing situations.

• Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, vector databases, or frameworks for AI agents.

• Capability to work remotely while collaborating with a high-performing team across US time zones.

• Customer-facing technical experience is preferred.
