Demand Forecasting Planner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create, assess, and execute precise forecasts for inventory replenishment within the designated segment.

• Work in tandem with both internal and external stakeholders to consolidate customer feedback, transform it into forecast execution, and evaluate performance and results.

• Monitor forecast performance to detect trends and anomalies within the assigned segment.

• Utilize analytics to recognize necessary adjustments in forecasts.

• Implement forecast modifications and relay updates to internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with partners to comprehend assortment and demand fluctuations related to holidays, events, and business transitions.

• Integrate inputs with system forecasts and historical data to produce collaborative forecasts.

• Communicate forecast implementation details to cross-functional partners and monitor performance for sales reporting.

• Identify opportunities to improve demand forecasting and planning systems, processes, and analytics.

• Act as a subject matter expert on Demand Planning and Forecasting.

⛳️ Requirements

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in place of a college degree.

• At least 3 years of experience in demand planning or a related field.

• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.

• Capacity to identify data patterns and their implications for forecasting.

• Proactive approach and ownership of assigned projects.

• Over 1 year of experience with data analysis tools, particularly Advanced Excel.

• More than 3 years of relevant experience in demand planning, forecasting, and/or supply chain planning.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas through storytelling based on data and facts.

• Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
