Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for end-to-end delivery across one Development team, with plans to expand to two, within the Sportsbook stream.

• Directly supervise one Project Manager and one Scrum Master, while functionally leading one to two development teams.

• Ensure delivery predictability and collaborate with Product on priorities, as well as Engineering on feasibility, capacity, and timelines.

• Foster effective working relationships between the delivery and engineering teams.

• Detect and resolve process breakdowns, communication gaps, and recurring obstacles.

• Identify misalignments early on between engineering outputs and product expectations.

• Oversee cross-team dependency tracking and coordinate release readiness across various teams.

• Manage the release calendar and guarantee smooth transitions to production.

• Collaborate with engineering to enhance visibility into technical debt and manage the bug resolution process.

• Handle the impact of delivery during incidents and urgent fixes.

• Monitor defect visibility across teams.

• Daily track sprint progress, cross-team dependencies, and release readiness.

• Escalate blockers within a 24-hour timeframe.

• Maintain Jira hygiene and deliver reporting for stakeholders.

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure that retrospective actions are completed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Delivery Manager or Technical PM in a product-focused technology company.

• Demonstrated experience in directly managing or mentoring delivery personnel, including PMs and Scrum Masters.

• Experience in functionally leading development teams.

• Comfortable discussing capacity, blockers, and technical limitations with engineers.

• Practical experience with bug management and defect triage workflows.

• Strong instincts for escalation.

• Proficient in using Jira and understanding delivery metrics.

• Proactive and driven by ownership.

• Fluent in both English and Russian.

• Experience in establishing or significantly enhancing delivery processes is a plus.
