Delivery Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive leadership and governance for Data Protection, Disaster Recovery, Backup & Recovery, and Cybersecurity Services.

• Direct the Disaster Recovery and resilience program, which encompasses operational readiness, DR planning, testing/exercises, recovery capabilities, remediation, and executive governance.

• Supervise daily service delivery and performance in alignment with contractual commitments, SLAs, security requirements, compliance obligations, and customer expectations.

• Establish customer governance through executive reviews, service performance assessments, risk identification, issue management, priority setting, and improvement plans.

• Act as the primary leadership contact for significant incidents, escalations, service risks, and critical recovery events.

• Lead cross-functional technical and delivery teams across areas such as storage, backup, recovery, infrastructure, security, resilience, and related services.

• Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, resource plans, utilization metrics, and overall financial performance.

• Identify operational and delivery risks while ensuring proper mitigation, ownership, and executive visibility.

• Propel continuous service enhancement through problem management, process improvement, automation, standardization, and operational efficiency.

• Spearhead strategic projects and transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing resilience, recoverability, cybersecurity posture, and service quality.

• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, operations, security, and customer teams to implement new capabilities and modernize existing services.

• Identify avenues for automation, innovation, and new service capabilities.

• Cultivate customer executive relationships, serving as a trusted advisor on resiliency, recovery, and service delivery strategies.

• Lead and mentor a geographically distributed team of technical specialists.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience leading large-scale infrastructure or managed services delivery within a complex enterprise setting.

• Direct experience in Disaster Recovery and resilience, including DR planning, testing, recovery execution, governance, and continuous improvement.

• Proficient in Data Protection, Backup & Recovery, storage, and infrastructure technologies.

• Working knowledge of cybersecurity operations, security controls, risk management, and compliance regulatory requirements.

• Proven experience in managing customer relationships and executive-level governance.

• Strong program and project management skills with a track record of managing multiple concurrent initiatives.

• Experience overseeing financial performance, budgets, resource planning, and service delivery commitments.

• Robust understanding of ITIL/service management disciplines, including incident, problem, change, and service-level management.

• Ability to lead geographically distributed, cross-functional technical teams.

• Exceptional communication, executive presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Demonstrated ability to perform effectively during major incidents and high-pressure recovery scenarios.

• Experience in supporting large healthcare or highly regulated enterprise environments.

• Familiarity with enterprise DR, cyber recovery, backup, and storage platforms.

• Experience in driving automation, operational transformation, and continuous improvement.

• Relevant certifications in areas such as PMP, ITIL, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity, cybersecurity, cloud, or infrastructure technologies.
