Delivery Lead – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical backbone of the program, beginning with the initial coding of the core platform and continuing through to support operations until the close of 2027.

• Establish the technical infrastructure: headless CMS, contemporary frontend, Swiss hosting that complies with nLPD (Swiss data protection law), CI/CD, as well as staging and production environments.

• Build application components — Create the site pages and functionalities: templates, integrated health forms, an insurer-based coverage selector, and a laboratory catalog divided into four categories with online ordering capabilities.

• Manage integrations — Connect third-party services: appointment booking (OnDoc), partner prescription/order platform, and prepare for advanced integrations in 2027 (professional accounts, business/domain APIs).

• Ensure security & nLPD compliance — Implement health data protection standards: encryption, consent management, data minimization, and logging, in collaboration with compliance reviews prior to each production release.

• Collaborate with AI — Work closely with the architecture AI assistant on a daily basis: frame challenges, assess proposed designs, reuse or refine generated code, and document the decisions taken.

• Provide mentorship — Offer technical guidance to the two developers on the team: conduct code reviews, establish standards, break down tickets, and facilitate skill enhancement.

• Oversee delivery & operations — Guarantee staged production releases (December 2026, followed by quarterly waves throughout 2027) and deliver level 2/3 support.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of full-stack development experience, including complete responsibility for production releases.

• Expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript, React or Next.js, Node.js, and at least one headless CMS (Strapi, Directus, Sanity, Contentful, or similar).

• Strong understanding of APIs (REST/GraphQL), relational databases, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure (preferably Swiss hosting providers certified to ISO 27001).

• Hands-on experience with web security (OWASP, authentication, encryption) and an awareness of personal and health data protection concerns.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar) and a demonstrated commitment to integrating this approach into everyday work — rather than treating it as a novelty.

• High level of independence and a proven track record of working fully remotely: in a four-member team, everyone assumes broad responsibilities.

• Fluent in French (for documentation, tickets, and team communication) and proficient in technical English.
