Delivery Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of onboarding and ensuring data integrity for strategic and high-value clients, focusing on improving data quality and integrating technology stacks.

• Collaborate with pre-sales teams and provide consultation to prospects and clients to outline business objectives and success metrics.

• Work alongside engineering, product management, and marketing teams to optimize technical onboarding and Mixpanel deployment.

• Offer technical services such as data architecture consultations, and promote best practices in adoption and change management.

• Establish scalable data governance practices and enhance data reliability through optimization and re-implementation initiatives.

• Manage deliverables effectively while balancing project timelines, scope changes, and unforeseen challenges.

• Partner with technical and solutions partners on data optimization and onboarding initiatives.

• Facilitate internal collaborations with Mixpanel's product and engineering teams to prioritize tasks driven by client needs.

• Develop AI automations to assist customers in managing data at scale.

• Advise customers on integrating agentic workflows with Mixpanel data.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in data querying, modeling, and transformation using at least one core tool, such as SQL, dbt, Python, Business Intelligence tools, or Product Analytics tools.

• Knowledgeable about databases and cloud data warehouses, including Google Cloud, Amazon Redshift, and Microsoft Azure.

• Familiar with product analytics implementation techniques such as SDKs, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Event Streaming, and Reverse ETL.

• Understand analytics best practices across various business sectors and verticals.

• Capable of managing complex projects with diverse client stakeholders, collaborating across teams and departments to drive meaningful change while maintaining scope and timelines.

• Experienced in incorporating AI into workflows and knowledgeable about using MCP servers, building new skills, setting context, and consulting with clients regarding AI/data strategy.

• Background in customer success, client-facing professional services, consulting, or technical project management.

• Strong written, analytical, and communication skills.

• Solid process and/or project delivery discipline.

• Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and adapting to the changing needs of customers.
