Decentralized Water Systems Training Partner – Wells & Septic

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Serve as a representative for a training provider, public health agency, cooperative extension, nonprofit, or employer working with well/septic professionals.

• Collaborate in the design of educational programs and training for decentralized water workers.

• Identify target regions, often rural, and establish pathways for trainees.

• Assist in the documentation of partnerships for joint proposals when mutually agreed upon.

• Provide guidance on credentials, safety, and public health competencies relevant to the field.

⛳️ Requirements

• Direct experience in private well, septic, or decentralized water training/service delivery.

• Affiliation with an organization capable of hosting or co-delivering training.

• Willingness to engage in time-limited collaboration.

• Authorization to work with a U.S. nonprofit research organization.

• Connections to state onsite/wastewater certification programs.

• Ability to reach rural and tribal communities.

• Existing pathways for trainee placement in decentralized water jobs.
