This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the redlining and negotiation of new contracts from the initial verbal agreement to the finalized Master Service Agreement (MSA).
• Take responsibility for all supporting deal documentation, such as Service Orders, Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), Business Associate Agreements (BAAs), and addenda.
• Act as the primary liaison for prospect legal and procurement teams during the contracting phase.
• Keep precise deal records in HubSpot throughout the closing process.
• Identify contract risks and non-standard terms and communicate them to the VP of Sales.
• Manage the renewal paperwork cycle for over 200 clients.
• Collaborate with Customer Success on renewal timing, pricing adjustments, and term modifications.
• Monitor the renewal pipeline and inform Customer Success and Sales about approaching deadlines.
• Ensure that executed renewals are properly documented and accurately represented in HubSpot.
• Assist in pipeline reporting and forecasting for the VP of Sales and materials for the board.
• Develop process playbooks, templates, and approval frameworks.
• Uphold data integrity in HubSpot and governance of deal stages.
• Support quota and compensation modeling as the team grows.
• Report directly to the VP of Sales.
• Act as a bridge between Sales, Customer Success, and standard terms.
• 3–6 years of experience in deal desk, sales operations, legal operations, or contract management within a SaaS environment.
• Proven experience in redlining and negotiating SaaS contracts, including MSAs, subscription agreements, and DPAs.
• Capability to negotiate assertively while preserving relationships.
• Proficient in managing 10–20 active contract threads concurrently.
• Familiarity with HubSpot or other equivalent CRM systems.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Experience with clients in higher education, nonprofit, or healthcare sectors (preferred).
• Knowledge of HIPAA contracting and the purchasing cycles of nonprofit/grant-funded organizations (preferred).
• Background in a high-growth company where established processes were still being developed (preferred).
• Understanding of revenue operations concepts beyond just contracting (preferred).
• Must reside in the United States.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
