DBA Oracle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle RDBMS software and related products, versions 12 and 19.

• Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies using RMAN-Datapump.

• Perform database tuning and monitor performance with AWR, ADDM, ASH, and Statspack.

• Maintain and optimize databases and queries.

• Troubleshoot incidents and operate the system.

• Plan for growth and changes through capacity planning.

• Manage patches, including patch sets and PSU.

• Oversee replication processes with Goldengate and Data Guard Active, including switching and failover.

• Conduct performance tuning.

• Monitor using Prometheus-Grafana.

• Configure and maintain documentation and standards.

• Collaborate on a stable project for a multinational client in the banking sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Primarily experienced in Oracle administration.

• Experience with Oracle RDBMS and related products, versions 12 and 19.

• Knowledge of RMAN-Datapump.

• Familiarity with AWR, ADDM, ASH, and Statspack.

• Understanding of Goldengate and Data Guard Active.

• Knowledge of Prometheus-Grafana.

• Familiarity with Exadata.

• Knowledge of storage and ASM infrastructure, including griddisk and diskgroup.

• Experience in SQL-Server and MySQL administration is a plus.

• English proficiency at B2 level.
