DB Pension Configuration Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of clients’ Defined Benefit pension plan calculation guidelines.

• Serve as the intermediary between the client and project team regarding pension plan calculations.

• Customize in-house software to align with client-specific pension plans.

• Draft software development specifications based on client requirements and inquiries.

• Ensure seamless integration of the software with other systems implemented by the client.

• Engage in the creation of testing strategies for software configuration and new initiatives.

• Review test scenarios using criteria mandated by the pension plan.

• Assist the quality assurance team in their activities.

• Propose software enhancements to the relevant development team.

• Offer customer support to users post-implementation to guarantee effective software management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance.

• Over 5 years of experience in Defined Benefit pension administration, consulting, and/or implementation.

• Proficient in understanding and utilizing current computer technologies.

• Strong knowledge of Excel software.

• Excellent analytical and summarizing abilities.

• Highly organized with the flexibility to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving capability.

• Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team as well as independently.

• Ability to set priorities and adhere to deadlines.

• Willingness to travel occasionally within Canada and the US.

• Team members whose roles necessitate access to a Data Center and/or detailed client-service technology knowledge must undergo Personnel Security Screening through the Government of Canada.
