📋 Description

• Administer, configure, and maintain databases including MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and storage systems.

• Ensure database security by managing roles, privileges, and access controls effectively.

• Implement and sustain backup and disaster recovery strategies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, focusing on performance bottlenecks and outages.

• Collaborate with development teams to enhance database design, stored procedures, and queries.

• Automate database maintenance tasks utilizing scripts and database tools.

• Execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations as needed.

• Participate in DevOps teams to assist with database deployment in both cloud and on-premises environments.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of database architectures, configurations, and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator.

• Strong proficiency in the administration of MSSQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

• Extensive experience with SQL queries, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

• Knowledge of best practices in database security and access controls.

• Experience with backup, recovery, and high-availability solutions.
