This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Develop and establish MMIS data architecture standards that support data conversion, integration, reporting, and operational use downstream.
• Direct data transformation initiatives from legacy MMIS systems to contemporary solutions, ensuring data integrity, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Utilize AI-driven and intelligent automation methodologies to expedite data design, profiling, validation, reconciliation, and documentation processes, all while ensuring governance and incorporating human oversight.
• Collaborate with data conversion managers, architects, analysts, and developers to ensure that the conversion design aligns with the target-state architecture.
• Create and uphold source-to-target mappings, canonical models, data dictionaries, and governance standards.
• Guarantee that data designs meet CMS requirements, audit readiness, reporting demands, and operational performance expectations.
• Specify integration patterns and data flows among MMIS modules, analytics platforms, and external systems.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and cloud teams to ensure compliance with hosting, security, and performance standards.
• Over 9 years of experience in data architecture or designing large-scale data platforms, ideally within Medicaid, MMIS, or public sector healthcare systems.
• Proven experience in supporting data conversion or migration projects, including source-to-target design and validation strategies.
• At least 3 years of experience employing AI-assisted or intelligent automation tools to enhance data workflows in governed enterprise environments.
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure and networking protocols, including firewalls, routing, and network storage.
• Experience across the complete software development life cycle (SDLC) in large, complex implementation programs.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Video cameras must be utilized during all interviews and throughout the first week of orientation.
