This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Choose patches for Exadata, GRID, Database, E-Business, Weblogic, JAVA, OPA, OHS, and APEX products.

• Evaluate patches, including their application order, prerequisites, post-requisites, and configuration steps.

• Collaborate with payroll, functional, developer, testing, project management, and other DBA teams throughout the patching processes.

• Download and implement patches onto systems.

• Create DBA instructions for experienced DBAs to follow.

• Investigate errors and discrepancies related to patches.

• Analyze database and alert log files.

• Assist in patching Oracle E-Business Systems, with future opportunities to work on Oracle Fusion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible for Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.

• Familiarity with My Oracle Support and the ability to navigate its documentation.

• Knowledge and experience with Oracle GRID/Database RDBMS 19C.

• Understanding of CDB/PDB and Dual FS.

• Experience in applying patches, particularly via ADOP on E-Business systems.

• Experience with Exadata and RAC is preferred but not mandatory.
