📋 Description

• Manage, maintain, and enhance PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis databases.

• Assess database performance, pinpoint bottlenecks, and apply enhancements.

• Develop and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans.

• Safeguard database security, integrity, and adherence to best practices.

• Conduct database upgrades, migrations, and patch management activities.

• Monitor the health of databases and actively address issues.

• Collaborate with development and platform teams to facilitate application deployments and infrastructure enhancements.

• Resolve database incidents efficiently and provide prompt solutions.

• Generate and sustain database documentation, operational procedures, and standards.

• Aid in capacity planning and initiatives for database scalability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience as a Database Administrator or a related position.

• Proficient hands-on experience in PostgreSQL administration.

• Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB administration, including managing sharded clusters.

• Experience with Redis administration and caching methodologies.

• Knowledge of database performance tuning and query optimization techniques.

• Comprehensive understanding of backup and recovery methodologies.

• Familiarity with database monitoring tools.

• Experience in Azure cloud database environments.

• Knowledge of high availability, replication, and clustering principles.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

• Proficient in English, both written and oral.

• Experience with Terraform (preferred).

• Knowledge of Databricks (preferred).
