📋 Description

• Set up, configure, and manage databases

• Monitor and optimize database performance

• Install, configure, and oversee applications

• Offer technical assistance for the database environment

• Supervise database development and structure

• Track application usage and performance metrics

• Manage user access

• Address incidents related to databases and applications

• Coordinate support for databases and applications

• Collaborate with the Development team and work closely with a major client's IT department

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology coupled with a minimum of 10 years of relevant IT professional experience

• At least 6 years of experience with modeling tools, such as UML

• A minimum of 5 years of experience with RDBMS

• Proficient in database design and modeling using Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MsSQL

• Experienced in database administration, performance tuning, management, and security

• Strong understanding of application development environments

• Familiarity with comprehensive database and transaction log backup and restore strategies

• Knowledge of active/active and active/passive clustering

• Experience with high-availability strategies, including log shipping, database mirroring, replication, and SRDF

• Involvement in Disaster Recovery testing

• Proficient in database monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, maintenance, and auditing configurations

• Good grasp of designing and developing web and multi-tier Internet applications

• Experience in writing technical documentation

• Understanding of Active Directory related to database security and Windows scripting is preferred

• Postgres certification is a plus

• Excellent command of the English language
