Data Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Lead the management of data for intricate, worldwide clinical trials from the initial study setup to the database lock.

• Act as the primary client liaison for all data management deliverables.

• Supervise SAE, PK, and external data reconciliation along with database deployment.

• Oversee timelines, budgets, and resource distribution to fulfill customer expectations.

• Mentor junior staff in data management and advocate for best practices.

• Propel process enhancements and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and SOPs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in life sciences, health, clinical, biological, or a mathematical discipline.

• At least 10 years of direct experience in clinical data management, including over 5 years in a Lead Clinical Data Management position.

• Previous job titles may include Clinical Data Manager, Senior Clinical Data Manager, Lead Data Manager, Principal Data Manager, and/or Data Management Project Manager.

• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale global studies involving 1000 or more patients.

• Proficiency in Medidata Rave, Oracle InForm, or comparable EDC systems.

• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH, and clinical research methodologies.

• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
