This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, automate, and enhance the deployment and operation of enterprise data and analytics platforms.
• Establish and oversee CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and source control methodologies.
• Administer and optimize GitHub, including the migration from Azure DevOps.
• Implement release management processes and standardize strategies for promoting development, testing, and production environments.
• Introduce new source control processes to address identified gaps.
• Collaborate with BI, data engineering, and cloud teams to enhance automation and improve platform reliability.
• Contribute to the roadmap for modernizing data platform delivery utilizing Azure DevOps and GitHub.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify challenges and align priorities regarding data pipeline delivery and deployment automation.
• Enable scalable CI/CD practices across Microsoft Fabric and Databricks environments.
• Assess data and CI/CD architecture, data flows, and platform maturity.
• Design CI/CD pipelines that incorporate automated build, test, and deployment processes.
• Establish source control standards for notebooks, pipelines, reports, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Implement automated testing frameworks for data pipelines and deployments.
• Establish release management processes that include scheduling, versioning, and environment promotion.
• Implement governance, quality controls, pipeline gates, and validation processes.
• Set up monitoring and alerting for CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Document and communicate CI/CD standards and practices to foster adoption across teams.
• Mentor engineers and analysts in CI/CD, Git workflows, and deployment best practices.
• Maintain and continuously enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Public Health, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in Systems, Application, and/or Database platforms administration with platforms such as Epic, SQL Server, Tableau, SAS, BusinessObjects, etc. is essential.
• Experience in architecting data management, analytics, business intelligence, and application integration solutions is necessary.
• A Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Management, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Preferred experience in CI/CD platform administration and implementation with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks.
• Experience in architecting automated deployment pipelines, data platform integrations, and asset bundle management solutions is advantageous.
• Travel is required: Never or Rarely.
