Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create advanced statistical models, experiments, and causal inference techniques to identify key factors influencing client and business outcomes, guiding impactful decisions.

• Develop scalable analytical capabilities, including semantic layers, entity models, and repeatable workflows, integrating disparate data to facilitate analytics, predictive modeling, AI applications, and self-service decision-making.

• Manage complex and ambiguous analytical projects from defining the problem to execution, measurement, and effective communication.

• Convert insights into clear recommendations and narratives suitable for executive presentations.

• Collaborate with Client Experience, Strategy, Marketing, Styling, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to establish success metrics, comprehend client journeys and behaviors, and identify opportunities for product and experience enhancements.

• Guide and mentor fellow Data Scientists.

• Utilize LLMs, AI agents, and innovative tools to expedite analysis, enhance workflows, and elevate experimentation, modeling, and technical proficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in Data Science or a comparable analytical position.

• Proven experience in applying advanced analytical techniques to intricate business challenges.

• Background in e-commerce, retail, or similarly data-intensive environments is advantageous.

• Solid expertise in experimentation, causal inference, statistical modeling, and product analytics.

• Experience in defining success metrics, analyzing user behavior, and linking analytical findings to quantifiable business results.

• Familiarity with complex, interconnected datasets.

• Proven experience in constructing scalable data structures or analytical capabilities.

• Strongly valued experience with graph databases, semantic layers, entity modeling, or multimodal data.

• Proficient in Python or R and SQL.

• Comfortable developing analytical solutions in collaborative, production-focused settings.

• Experience utilizing LLMs and AI agents.

• Excellent communication and independent problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to impose structure on ambiguity and take ownership of initiatives from concept to delivery.

• Skill in translating intricate technical concepts for business and executive audiences.
