This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +1 more country.
• Gather, process, and analyze both structured and unstructured datasets utilizing Python, SQL, and contemporary data science methodologies.
• Create, validate, and implement machine learning and statistical models aimed at forecasting, customer analytics, and predictive business applications.
• Conduct feature engineering, data preparation, and model optimization.
• Design and sustain analytical workflows and data pipelines, collaborating with Data Engineering teams as necessary.
• Recognize trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities within complex datasets.
• Convert analytical insights into actionable recommendations and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work alongside clients, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to provide data-driven solutions.
• Promote data science best practices, modeling methodologies, and reusable analytical frameworks.
• Employ predictive analytics, customer analytics, and advanced statistical methods to address business challenges.
• Participate in client-facing analytics projects from initial discovery to full implementation.
• Relevant academic qualifications in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 4 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or similar data-centric roles.
• Proven experience in delivering analytical solutions from data exploration to model deployment and business integration.
• Ability to work efficiently in multidisciplinary settings.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Strong practical experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience in developing and deploying Machine Learning and Statistical Models.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Data Analysis, Data Modeling, and Feature Engineering.
• Proven experience working with large datasets and deriving actionable business insights.
• Strong understanding of Predictive Analytics, Customer Analytics, and data science applications driven by business needs.
• Experience in communicating analytical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and critical reasoning skills.
• Familiarity with the complete machine learning lifecycle, including data preparation, model training, validation, and deployment.
