Data Science Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and assess A/B tests, multivariate tests, and quasi-experiments, ensuring both statistical significance and practical applicability.

• Perform comprehensive exploratory analyses to identify patterns, trends, and areas for optimization.

• Lead projects in statistical modeling and causal inference, converting findings into actionable business strategies.

• Act as the primary technical resource for statistics and experimentation within the team.

• Suggest and deploy frameworks for monitoring experiments and assessing impact metrics.

• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to establish hypotheses and organize tests.

• Ensure thorough documentation and effective communication of results to non-technical stakeholders.

• Create machine learning models aimed at delivering value to both the company and its customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in applied statistics, experimentation, and data analysis.

• Proficient in A/B testing, multivariate experiments, and causal inference techniques.

• Advanced understanding of statistical models, machine learning, and Bayesian analysis.

• Expertise in Python and SQL.

• Capability to transform complex statistical concepts into practical business insights.

• Experience handling large datasets and utilizing analytical tools.

• Intermediate proficiency in English.

• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in data science, applied statistics, or related domains.

• Preferred: experience in developing models on GCP and AWS.

• Preferred: background in machine learning models, LLMs, and AI agents.

• Preferred: relevant certifications in applied statistics, causal inference, or digital experimentation.

• Preferred: active involvement in statistics, data science, and applied research communities.
