Data Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the roadmap for Habitat Health’s data products and infrastructure, establishing direction and priorities within the data function.

• Manage data products throughout their lifecycle, covering both Platform & Integrations as well as Dashboards & Reporting.

• Act as a liaison between the Product and Data teams, aligning product strategies with C-Suite and VP-level stakeholders.

• Work closely with the development team to create data products that meet business requirements.

• Identify business challenges and establish product priorities ahead of development.

• Draft clear technical specifications for developers to follow.

• Oversee the Jira backlog and manage the sprint process.

• Ensure smooth execution and keep development efforts on track.

• Design, validate, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for, and deliver dashboards.

• Prioritize and manage ad hoc data requests, distinguishing between quick fixes and roadmap initiatives.

• Leverage AI tools such as Claude to enhance productivity and model AI proficiency for the team.

• Provide support across Platform & Integrations, Clinical & Operational Services, Regulatory, and Enterprise Reporting.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years of experience in product management, data/BI, or a closely related area.

• Proven history of delivering data products, dashboards, or reporting tools from start to finish.

• Equivalent combinations of education and experience are considered.

• Strong understanding of healthcare data ontologies, systems, and information technology.

• Proficient in SQL for independently querying, validating, and troubleshooting data.

• Ability to create clear technical specifications, including metric definitions, cohort logic, and source-to-target mapping.

• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and end-users to gather requirements, design solutions, and lead UAT.

• Familiarity with Jira, Git, Power BI, and cloud data platforms like Databricks or Azure.

• Comfortable and enthusiastic about utilizing AI tools for requirements documentation, analysis, and workflow automation.

• Alignment with Habitat Health’s mission and core values.

• Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and Jira (preferred).

• Experience in PACE, VBC, or other regulated, compliance-focused environments (preferred).

• Familiarity with healthcare data ontologies such as CPT, ICD-10, and NDC (preferred).

• Experience with Epic Clarity, Caboodle, Chronicles, medical/pharmacy claims data, or FHIR/HL7 integrations (preferred).

• Compliance with relevant infection control, PPE, and vaccination requirements associated with the role and workplace.

• Authorization to work in the United States confirmed through Form I-9 and E-Verify.
