Data Product Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the Data team's priorities, intake, and triage.

• Facilitate team rituals, including planning sessions, reviews, and workshops.

• Conduct hands-on analytics, encompassing deep-dives, dashboards, business cases, recommendations, and inputs for weekly and Monthly Business Reviews.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to integrate tracking and success metrics into Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).

• Ensure alignment between the data roadmap and product roadmaps.

• Convert stakeholder business inquiries into specifications, metric definitions, and acceptance criteria.

• Perform quality checks on analyses, dashboards, and datasets prior to delivery to internal or external stakeholders.

• Mentor and develop the Data team in problem framing, communication, and stakeholder engagement.

• Work alongside the Data Tech Lead to co-manage the roadmap and guarantee that infrastructure efforts meet business needs.

• Report directly to the CTO and manage the Data team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years in data analytics, analytics engineering, or data product roles.

• Experience in leading individuals or establishing priorities for a small team.

• Proficiency in SQL.

• Hands-on experience in creating dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Omni or Superset.

• Strong business acumen and product-oriented mindset.

• Sufficient technical expertise to discuss warehouse design, data pipelines, data models, and associated trade-offs.

• Proven ability in stakeholder management and communication across product, engineering, finance, BD, and executive levels.

• Strong data storytelling capabilities for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience in the Crypto/DeFi domain or a demonstrated deep understanding of cross-chain, DEX aggregation, bridges, or wallets.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Familiarity with Python, dbt, dimensional modeling, semantic layer design, metric definition management, AI-readiness, ML modeling, on-chain data/tooling, and streaming data is a plus.

• At least 1 year of leadership experience, as specified in the application form.
