This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Assist in the complete implementation life cycle, which encompasses planning, configuration, design, build, testing, training, go-live, and post-production support.
• Collect both business and technical requirements.
• Aid in the design of data management architectures, including data models, workflows, and integration points.
• Establish definitions for master data domains and governance strategies.
• Set up matching, survivorship, and golden record rules.
• Configure data management platforms for integration, quality, and governance procedures.
• Create rules for data validation, cleansing, and enrichment.
• Implement role-based access controls.
• Integrate data management solutions with ERP, CRM, and Data Warehouse systems.
• Define and uphold data quality standards and business rules.
• Execute data stewardship workflows.
• Support data profiling and deduplication initiatives.
• Monitor and rectify data inconsistencies and anomalies.
• Develop test plans, scenarios, and scripts.
• Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing.
• Validate data accuracy and performance; troubleshoot and address defects.
• Produce solution documentation, design specifications, and user guides.
• Provide training for business users, data stewards, and IT teams.
• Maintain system documentation and change logs.
• Serve as a liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors.
• Support change management and adoption initiatives.
• Assist with enhancements post-implementation.
• Keep abreast of advancements in data management technologies and best practices.
• Experience in business analysis, including requirement gathering, translating business needs into technical solutions, and collaborating on problem-solving with cross-functional teams.
• Background in master data management, including match approach and tuning, as well as conceptual to physical data modeling, stewardship, and work queue design and configuration.
• Proficient in data integration, covering data mapping, sourcing, transformation, and process orchestration across various latency types.
• Knowledge of data quality and governance, including data profiling, cleansing, standardization, and enrichment.
• Experience in testing and validation, including preparation and execution of UAT, data validation, and technical testing.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly to both delivery leads and client counterparts.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Math, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in delivering data management solutions using comprehensive platforms that encompass data governance, data integration, and master data management capabilities.
• Strong understanding of data governance and data management best practices, tools, and disciplines, including business and technology issues related to enterprise information asset management and data protection.
• Proficient technical writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for better understanding.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations to define specific requirements, prioritize tasks, and achieve outcomes.
• High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
