Data Intelligence Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Zealand, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Gather, verify, and sustain data from both internal and external sources to facilitate feasibility and operational tasks.

• Evaluate clinical trial, site, investigator, and operational data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

• Create and uphold standard reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to aid stakeholder decision-making.

• Assist in feasibility assessments by providing data summaries, analyses, and insights regarding study requirements, site performance, recruitment trends, and therapeutic areas.

• Work collaboratively with Operational Strategy, Clinical Operations, Business Development, and other stakeholders to comprehend data requirements and deliver timely analyses.

• Conduct data quality reviews and address any inconsistencies and gaps in the data.

• Identify areas for enhancement in data collection, reporting, and analytical processes.

• Assist in the evaluation and integration of new data sources, tools, and technologies.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data sources, methodologies, reporting processes, and best practices.

• Create and modify reporting templates and analytical tools.

• Provide ad hoc analyses and reports aligned with departmental and organizational priorities.

• Track key operational and feasibility metrics and communicate results to stakeholders.

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by utilizing data to identify efficiencies and enhancements in operations.

• Ensure adherence to relevant quality standards, policies, and data governance requirements.

• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Data Analytics, Health Sciences, Business, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field is required.

• A Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

• Extensive experience in clinical research, feasibility, clinical operations, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related area.

• Experience working with datasets related to clinical trials, investigators, sites, operations, or healthcare.

• Proven ability to analyze and interpret complex data from various sources.

• Experience in developing reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for business stakeholders.

• Background in a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or similar environment is preferred.

• Experience in supporting feasibility assessments, site selection activities, clinical operations, or operational planning is preferred.

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in a global setting.

• Knowledge of clinical development processes and the conduct of clinical trials is desirable.

• Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, or similar platforms is preferred.
