This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in enterprise data governance processes and uphold standards.
• Aid in the maintenance of metadata and data lineage for governed datasets.
• Engage directly with data to comprehend its significance and pinpoint potential anomalies.
• Facilitate data quality initiatives and track governance-related issues.
• Collaborate with data owners and stewards on ownership and stewardship protocols.
• Support business teams in grasping data governance and data quality concepts.
• Take part in governance meetings and working groups.
• Contribute to the enhancement and maturity of the data governance program.
• 2-4 years of experience in data governance, data management, or a similar field.
• Proficiency in SQL and the ability to work with data effectively.
• Familiarity with data governance principles and procedures.
• Experience or knowledge related to metadata, data lineage, and data quality.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with business stakeholders and clarify governed data.
• Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; no employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT.
• A reliable high-speed internet connection with a wired setup for remote and hybrid roles.
• Internet connection must be fiber, cable, or DSL.
