This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +9 more states.
• Assist the data governance office in establishing and formulating policies, standards, processes, and metrics.
• Create quality data practices and set acceptable success thresholds in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Suggest and execute strategies to foster a data-driven culture.
• Work alongside stakeholders to evaluate data comprehension and pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Generate governance documentation, standards, and guidance for uniform data utilization.
• Stay informed about data asset inventories, catalogs, business glossaries, data lineage, and data architecture documentation.
• Track metrics related to the utilization of data assets.
• Offer knowledge guidance to junior analysts as necessary.
• Aid in managing data access controls across analytics and enterprise platforms.
• Review and confirm access requests for production and non-production systems, reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
• Implement role-based access governance and least-privilege standards while identifying risk gaps or policy exceptions.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Compliance, Audit, and technical teams on governance assessments and remediation efforts.
• Assist in governance decisions regarding data sharing, outbound data usage, and the handling of sensitive data.
• Enhance governance controls, documentation standards, and processes for audit readiness.
• Recognize trends, risks, and potential enhancements related to data governance and access management.
• Partner with Information Security and IT to ensure governance processes align with security policies.
• Associate degree OR 2 years of relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience requirement.
• 3 years of experience in a healthcare or business setting.
• 2 years of experience with data access, data quality, or metadata management processes, or in data governance, data management, or analytics operations.
• EPIC certified within six months of hire.
• Preferred: experience in analytics security administration and user access management.
• Preferred: knowledge of role-based access control (RBAC), security provisioning, and permission management.
• Preferred: experience with Epic analytics security, including Cogito, Radar, Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, or related Epic security experience.
• Preferred: ability to troubleshoot user access issues and collaborate with technical teams.
• Preferred: understanding of least-privilege access principles, compliance, and audit readiness.
• Preferred: familiarity with Active Directory/security groups and access request workflows.
• Preferred: experience in documenting security standards, access procedures, and governance processes.
