This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Collect and specify requirements for tailored data connectors.
• Work alongside Business Analysts and Data Architects to pinpoint data sources that need custom development.
• Create bespoke connectors utilizing native services from Google Cloud Platform.
• Execute data integration procedures with a focus on dependability, scalability, and observability.
• Set up mechanisms for handling failures, logic for reprocessing, and error-recovery queues.
• Validate connectors using both sample and synthetic datasets.
• Document the behavior, configurations, and dependencies associated with developed connectors.
• Guarantee the quality of integrations and ensure they adhere to data architecture and governance standards.
• Assist in knowledge transfer and transition of solutions to teams responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the environment.
• Participate in data integration, modeling, and management efforts across the organization’s analytics ecosystem.
• Proficient with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Familiarity with Big Data within the Google Cloud environment.
• Experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Background in data integration, ETL, and processing pipelines.
• Experienced with Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
• Knowledgeable in data analysis and modeling techniques.
• Understanding of data governance principles.
• Experience in data management and quality assurance.
• Capability to document technical solutions and integration methodologies.
• Proven experience in developing and testing custom data connectors.
• Preferred: experience with digital transformation initiatives in the industrial or manufacturing domains.
• Preferred: familiarity with analytics platforms such as Looker.
• Preferred: knowledge of data-centric architectures and AI-enabled platforms.
• Preferred: experience in settings with strict security and compliance standards.
• Preferred: understanding of observability, monitoring, and practices for data pipeline resilience.
• Preferred: experience in migrating connectors and integrating various data sources.
