Data Engineer, Mid-Level – Microsoft Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Create data pipelines

• Design data ingestion and transformation frameworks

• Prepare and structure data

• Ensure information is readily accessible for use

• Build data solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Databricks

• Engage with the entire data lifecycle: ingestion, transformation, modeling, and delivery

• Create scalable solutions with an emphasis on performance

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Data Engineering

• Proficient in Microsoft Azure

• Familiarity with Azure Databricks

• Experience with PySpark and notebooks

• Knowledge in developing ETL/ELT processes

• Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage / ADLS

• Understanding of Parquet

• Knowledge of Delta Lake

• Familiarity with the entire data lifecycle: ingestion, transformation, modeling, and delivery

• Capability to create scalable, performance-oriented solutions

• Experience in SCRUM / Agile working environments
