Data Engineer – Insurance Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and manage intricate data architectures that align with Sicredi’s strategic and business objectives.

• Lead initiatives for automation and infrastructure, employing best practices to enhance efficiency and resilience.

• Propose and implement continuous improvements to ensure the security, scalability, and performance of cloud solutions.

• Act as a technical mentor to junior team members, promoting professional development and sharing knowledge.

• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams, influencing technical decisions and assisting with complex projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with SQL.

• Proficiency in Python for data processing and manipulation.

• Familiarity with Spark.

• Experience with Databricks.

• Understanding of structured and semi-structured data formats, particularly JSON.

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines.

• Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture.

• Experience with version control and best practices in software engineering.

• Preferred: Experience in cloud environments.

• Preferred: Understanding of Data Lake, Lakehouse, and modern data architecture.

• Preferred: Experience with pipeline observability and monitoring.

• Preferred: Familiarity with DataOps practices.

• Preferred: Knowledge of analytics environments and AI/Analytics initiatives.
