Data Engineer – HR Support Project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders across various countries to enhance data quality, facilitate system integrations and migrations, and develop scalable solutions that support informed decision-making.

• Engage directly with Databricks, Spark, SQL, and Python while serving as a reliable advisor to non-technical stakeholders.

• Merge robust technical knowledge with a consultative approach, challenging data assumptions, uncovering root causes of data problems, and proposing actionable solutions that drive business value.

• Work closely with the Group HR Controller, country HR Heads, project teams, as well as various technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks and Apache Spark in production settings.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for processing, transforming, and analyzing large-scale datasets.

• Experience handling complex, messy, incomplete, or inconsistent data, identifying issues, and driving improvements in data quality.

• Capability to comprehend business processes and translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

• Involvement in data migration, integration, or transformation projects.

• Practical experience in designing and implementing data validation, monitoring, governance, and quality control processes.

• Strong stakeholder management abilities and the skill to communicate technical insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences.

• Experience in creating clear documentation, including data mappings, business rules, data dictionaries, and process documentation.

• Strong analytical thinking coupled with attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of data accuracy.

• Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations.

• Fluent in Polish and English (C1+).

• Proficient in utilizing AI tools and large language models (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to boost productivity, expedite development, and address complex challenges.

• Ability to critically assess AI-generated outputs and apply them responsibly within professional workflows.
