Data Engineer – Data Warehouse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Play a pivotal role in shaping the data architecture of the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

• Enhance and refine data models and ETL processes.

• Design, plan, and create database objects using T-SQL.

• Deliver optimized data models, high-performance queries, and dependable database interfaces for business intelligence, analytics, and various departments.

• Examine data quality challenges and address them in partnership with business units.

• Assist Data Warehouse users with both business and technical inquiries.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree or vocational training in computer science, business informatics, data engineering, or a related field.

• Extensive experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining data warehouse solutions over several years.

• Strong expertise in SQL, T-SQL, database development, data modeling, ETL processes, MS SQL Server, linked servers, and API-based interfaces.

• A structured, solution-focused mindset, a strong dedication to quality, and effective communication skills within interdisciplinary teams.

• Proficient in German and competent in English for effective communication in an international setting.
