This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, construct, and enhance scalable data pipelines utilizing Airflow, Python, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Substitute fragile manual processes with robust, automated workflows.
• Oversee and advance AWS/GCP cloud infrastructure through Terraform.
• Develop production-quality code for intricate data processing tasks.
• Advocate for code reviews, testing, and CI/CD methodologies.
• Work alongside analysts on efficient SQL transformations and Snowflake data models.
• Implement observability and monitoring to ensure data reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts and Product Managers to produce high-quality data solutions.
• Take ownership of the FastAPI data API, encompassing endpoint design, performance, deployment, monitoring, and reliability.
• Create frameworks, standards, and best practices for the data platform.
• Candidates must reside in the United States.
• Strong proficiency in Python for modular, testable, and efficient data processing and automation.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and cloud data warehousing, with a preference for Snowflake.
• Demonstrated experience in constructing and maintaining intricate workflows using Airflow or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Terraform and AWS or GCP cloud services.
• Experience managing PHI and PII, implementing RBAC, and complying with strict governance standards.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking initiative in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Ability to simplify complex technical challenges for non-technical stakeholders.
• Expertise in dbt, healthcare data/HIPAA, Docker/Kubernetes, backend/API development, or MLOps is a plus.
• Must possess authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship details are addressed in the application.
