This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• Develop and sustain the platform that delivers timely and precise data for operational teams and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to convert data into actionable business insights.
• Partner with DevOps to implement infrastructure as code and ensure the platform's scalability.
• Implement new data pipelines.
• Design and construct data observability platforms and metrics.
• Create metadata-driven pipeline solutions.
• Oversee and refine data transformations.
• Develop third-party data integration solutions.
• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Familiarity with one or more major cloud service providers: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools and methodologies.
• Experience in SQL-based and Python data manipulation involving large datasets.
• Applicants must possess authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
• Capability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard, and mouse for prolonged periods.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies.
• Competence in performing frequent repetitive motions using wrists, hands, and fingers.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
• Effective communication skills through verbal interactions, with the ability to discern auditory information and visually perceive details.
