This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +2 more countries.
• Work closely with Data Scientists to implement real-time pricing algorithms for millions of users.
• Take charge of the entire lifecycle of data products.
• Assume complete responsibility for data pipelines within the Pricing Analytics domain.
• Design and construct systems to address highly complex or ambiguous challenges.
• Direct the design, development, optimization, and deployment of ML and ML-based solutions alongside cross-functional teams.
• Oversee the infrastructure that supports the Pricing algorithm.
• Ensure optimal performance of the pricing ML system.
• Facilitate cross-team initiatives to enhance ML infrastructure for model development, training, and deployment.
• Produce high-quality, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Ability to write clean, modular, and optimized code for intricate data transformations.
• Extensive hands-on experience in modeling enterprise Data Warehouses using dbt, including the Kimball methodology, dimensional modeling, star schemas, data testing, and data lineage.
• Strong familiarity with the Databricks ecosystem, encompassing Delta Lake, PySpark, Unity Catalog, SQL Endpoints, and Serverless compute.
• Significant experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, including S3, IAM, KMS, and DataSync.
• Proficient in writing and orchestrating complex production DAGs using Apache Airflow or MWAA.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitHub Actions, and Terraform.
• Practical experience in building, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise dashboards using Tableau, PowerBI, or Databricks SQL Dashboards.
• Regular use of AI tools such as Claude and Databricks AI features.
• Strong understanding of GDPR requirements, PII masking, access control policies, data retention, and auditing via Unity Catalog.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable data marts and KPI metrics.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and domain teams.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
