This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Construct and uphold dependable data pipelines utilizing Airbyte, Snowflake, dbt, and comparable tools.
• Create and enhance scalable data models for analytics, reporting, search, and AI-driven applications.
• Develop and sustain dbt models, testing frameworks, documentation, and deployment procedures.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, governance, and operational excellence throughout the data platform.
• Follow guidance from senior staff to acquire knowledge and support standard practices and best methods.
• Build and improve AI-driven applications that securely access, interpret, and summarize business information.
• Design methodologies for retrieval, context management, prompt engineering, and tool invocation.
• Develop agent-based workflows for multi-step business processes utilizing authorized tools and systems.
• Create APIs, services, and integrations that connect AI applications with internal platforms and business systems.
• Comprehend business applications of AI agents and provide insights to enhance user value.
• Monitor system health, application performance, data quality, AI utilization, and operational expenditures.
• Diagnose issues within data pipelines, warehouse transformations, software services, and AI workflows.
• Implement security measures, access control, testing, logging, and governance best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools while adhering to code quality, testing, and documentation standards.
• Background in software engineering, data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related technical field.
• Excellent SQL proficiency.
• Competence in at least one programming language, with a preference for Python.
• Experience in building and maintaining cloud-based data warehouses and operational data pipelines.
• Practical experience with Snowflake and dbt.
• Familiarity with data integration or ingestion tools like Airbyte.
• Experience in developing applications utilizing LLMs, RAG, tool invocation, or agent-based workflows.
• Knowledge of AI-assisted software development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Codex, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of APIs, source control, automated testing, CI/CD, and contemporary software engineering practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to troubleshoot across interconnected systems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Preferred: experience with Snowflake Cortex or other enterprise AI/LLM platforms.
• Preferred: experience in designing semantic layers, metadata systems, or governed retrieval architectures.
• Preferred: familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks, observability tools, token-cost optimization, and response quality monitoring.
• Preferred: experience in implementing role-based access controls, data governance standards, and data privacy protections.
• Preferred: experience in supporting internal applications from prototypes through to large-scale enterprise production adoption.
