This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, build, and sustain scalable and dependable data pipelines along with ETL/ELT processes.
• Create and enhance data warehouse solutions.
• Oversee data infrastructure development and maintenance, primarily utilizing AWS, while also providing support for certain aspects of the legacy infrastructure.
• Develop APIs and facilitate data integrations.
• Play a key role in developing and maintaining real-time data pipelines utilizing Kafka.
• Automate and refine data processes and workflows.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance the reliability, performance, security, and data quality of pipelines and infrastructure.
• Collaborate closely with the analytics team and other stakeholders to comprehend data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Ensure clear and current documentation is maintained for data pipelines, infrastructure, and workflows.
• Contribute to the enhancement and modernization of current data processes and architecture.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Practical experience with AWS, including S3, Redshift, Glue, and Lambda.
• Hands-on experience using Apache Airflow.
• Strong grasp of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining production data pipelines, emphasizing reliability, monitoring, and data quality.
• Solid understanding of both relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices, preferably with GitLab.
• Experience in developing APIs and data integrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in English at an upper-intermediate level or higher.
