Data Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines for integration, transformation, and information processing.

• Implement and manage orchestration processes using Airflow and AWS Step Functions.

• Design and implement solutions on Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouses.

• Participate in data modeling using dimensional, star, and snowflake approaches.

• Develop solutions utilizing AWS services and tools.

• Engage in implementation and deployment using AWS CodePipeline and AWS CDK.

• Collaborate in defining and evolving data solutions with a focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability.

• Research technologies to address technical challenges and continuously improve solutions.

• Contribute to the quality, availability, and evolution of data products.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in data analytics projects.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python.

• Experience in designing and developing data pipelines and integration and transformation processes.

• Experience in orchestrating pipelines with Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions.

• Experience with Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, or Lakehouses.

• Experience in data modeling using dimensional, star, and snowflake models.

• Knowledge and practical experience with AWS services: S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, IAM, CodePipeline, Athena, and CDK.

• Ability to self-manage, organize workload, make decisions, and meet deadlines and objectives.
