Data Engineer – Asset

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Engage in essential projects that focus on migration, integration, automation, and enhancing processes.

• Create, implement, and sustain data pipelines that link OMS/EMS, risk and performance systems, internal platforms, custodians, and administrators.

• Develop pipelines that can uncover business opportunities using both internal and external data.

• Establish and uphold highly dependable, high-performance ETL/ELT workflows.

• Create integrations through APIs, SFTP, messaging, or proprietary connectors.

• Record processes, data flows, and technical solutions comprehensively.

• Collaborate with business analysts to outline calculation rules, granularity, data quality standards, and essential fields.

• Recognize and execute ongoing enhancements aimed at boosting efficiency, performance, governance, and cost-effectiveness, thereby delivering value to the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• Background in data engineering within the financial markets sector.

• In-depth knowledge of Databricks.

• Proven experience in optimizing ETL processes and configuring clusters.

• Proficient in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation tasks.

• Advanced understanding of data modeling and data architecture principles.

• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills related to data and technology systems.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Preferred: experience with the implementation or migration of investment systems.
