Data Engineer, AI Skills

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create and develop scalable data solutions that drive analytics, AI applications, agents, and RAG ecosystems.

• Design and uphold scalable data pipelines and data products.

• Curate and prepare enterprise data for AI, GenAI, agent-based applications, and RAG solutions.

• Ensure adherence to data quality, lineage, metadata management, governance, and security standards.

• Construct agentic solutions to automate processes related to data discovery, transformation, and enrichment.

• Work in collaboration with Data Science, AI, and business teams to facilitate production-ready AI use cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Python and SQL.

• Practical experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, and Fabric.

• Familiarity with Data Lakehouse architectures and ETL/ELT frameworks.

• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, vector databases, and AI agents.

• Knowledge of Azure OpenAI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI frameworks.

• Comprehension of data governance, lineage, metadata management, and data security.

• Proficient with Git, CI/CD, and DataOps practices.
