Data Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Ensure that Commission Calculation and Reporting applications function effectively.

• Organize production data loads while confirming their timely and accurate completion.

• Address production incidents by leading impact assessments and resolution discussions with various teams.

• Assist in documenting root causes and applying lessons learned.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to grasp requirements and challenges, offering solution recommendations.

• Aid in application deployment efforts and resolve environmental issues.

• Suggest improvements to current processes to enhance efficiency.

• Construct, test, and maintain calculation logic, formulas, workflows, and plan components within the Varicent ICM platform.

• Convert annual sales incentive compensation plans into functional technical requirements and execute them in the system.

• Create, develop, and sustain customized dashboards and reports for sales representatives, managers, and executive leadership.

• Perform regular system audits to verify data integrity, plan compliance, and alignment with internal financial controls, including SOX compliance.

• Connect sales strategy with technical execution to guarantee that commissions, bonuses, and performance metrics are calculated accurately, audit-ready, and delivered punctually.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7+ years of experience in IT application development, operations support, or a similar role.

• Familiarity with Mainframe programs.

• Experience working with any type of ICM (Varicent or SSIS).

• Proven ability to independently manage multiple concurrent tasks.

• Detail-oriented, quick learner, and self-motivated.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Capability to explain technical issues, root causes, and remediation strategies in simple terms.

• Experience with SSIS and/or SSRS.

• Willingness to learn.

• Experience with Varicent is a plus.
