This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +5 more states.
• Manage Carrier's responsibilities in data center construction initiatives.
• Direct the startup, commissioning, and field modification activities for Carrier air- and water-cooled chillers in newly built data centers.
• Create and oversee detailed project plans to ensure adherence to schedules and budget constraints.
• Monitor and evaluate KPIs to assess project performance.
• Conduct progress meetings with stakeholders to discuss design, material delivery, and labor timelines.
• Ensure that projects achieve or surpass established profit margin targets.
• Order and monitor chiller components necessary for warranty fulfillment.
• Collaborate with sales teams, primary contractors, and end-users to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
• Act as Carrier's main point of contact between clients, commissioning authorities, general contractors, and subcontractors.
• Address customer issues and foster satisfaction throughout project implementation.
• Interpret and utilize mechanical, electrical, and architectural schematics.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and project requirements.
• Leverage working knowledge of Building Automation Systems for control functionality.
• Manage change orders to prevent scope expansion and uphold project integrity.
• Anticipate monthly revenue by estimating project completion expenses.
• Oversee project documentation, warranty processing, and factory-generated service information in collaboration with Service Engineering.
• Uphold stringent job safety standards throughout all projects.
• High school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 5 years of project management experience coordinating schedules, deliverables, and activities involving various stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and/or customers; OR at least 4 years of experience in supporting mechanical, electrical, controls, commissioning, construction, or field service projects.
• Over 2 years of experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical mechanical systems documentation.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time within the USA as dictated by business requirements.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or a Master's degree/MBA.
• Preferred experience in the data center industry with water- or air-cooled chillers.
• Preferred expertise in commercial HVAC, including centrifugal chillers, Cooling Distribution Unit systems, and airside equipment.
• Preferred Project Management Professional certification.
• Preferred Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification or experience with Building Automation Systems.
• Strong capability to juggle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills suitable for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong ability to establish rapport and trust with clients through active listening and effective solutions.
