This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Provide technical leadership to a diverse team tasked with developing AI agents within a corporate framework based on Azure.
• Specify agent architecture, incorporating orchestration, memory, tools, RAG with Azure AI Search, and integrations with corporate systems.
• Set engineering standards for prompts, automated evaluations, guardrails, CI/CD within Azure DevOps, and infrastructure as code.
• Perform architecture and code reviews to ensure quality, security, traceability, and compliance.
• Develop integration strategies for legacy systems, including mainframe environments, while considering validation, rollback, and auditing processes.
• Oversee the utilization of Azure OpenAI, monitoring models, costs, performance, observability, and scalability.
• Organize and advance the agents’ knowledge strategy through document repositories, vectorization, and content curation.
• Mentor professionals across the disciplines of AI, Data, and Development.
• Act as a technical reference for the client’s Architecture, Security, and Operations teams.
• 6–8 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data, or AI, including recent roles as a Tech Lead or technical subject-matter expert.
• Extensive experience with Python for developing agents, automation, and integrations.
• Practical experience with Generative AI in production using Azure OpenAI, prompt engineering, function calling, and agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar.
• Familiarity with enterprise RAG, embeddings, vector/hybrid search, Azure AI Search, and knowledge curation.
• Advanced understanding of Azure, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure DevOps, Entra ID, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor.
• Knowledge of agent evaluation and guardrails, quality metrics, security, and action controls.
• Experience with REST APIs and integration with corporate and legacy systems.
• Proven track record of technical leadership, mentoring, conducting code reviews, and making architectural decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and business teams.
• Azure certifications (AI-102 and/or AZ-305) are advantageous.
• Experience in regulated financial-sector environments (LGPD, BACEN, SOX) and AI governance is a plus.
• Experience integrating with mainframe environments, including JCL and job monitoring, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Dynatrace and application observability is a plus.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and MCP is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in English is a plus.
