Data Architect – Snowflake

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary liaison for data architecture between business stakeholders and IT delivery teams.

• Oversee solution architecture and design across various enterprise data domains, including product and material master data, commercial and sales, customer and consumer insights, manufacturing, supply chain, finance, procurement, ERP, and PLM.

• Facilitate discussions on business-to-technology architecture and translate requirements into scalable solution designs.

• Design and manage enterprise-scale data architectures utilizing Snowflake as the key cloud data platform.

• Establish standards for data modeling, incremental processing, change data capture, performance optimization, security, and access control.

• Create scalable, observable, and maintainable patterns for ingestion, processing, and data product development.

• Implement reconciliation controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and consistency between source systems and Snowflake.

• Set semantic-layer standards for Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms and ensure traceability of KPIs to their source.

• Identify technical dependencies, architecture risks, resource requirements, and implementation challenges.

• Support data foundations for AI and advanced analytics use cases.

• Contribute to business growth through strategic pre-sales and solutioning initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in senior data architecture roles within enterprise data and analytics programs.

• Recent and proven experience in Snowflake architecture.

• Strong capabilities in data modeling and cloud data platform design.

• Experience in integrating enterprise source systems with modern data platforms.

• Excellent stakeholder facilitation skills and client-facing solution design abilities.

• Familiarity with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA data structures and knowledge of upstream business processes (preferred).

• Experience with PLM and product/material master data (preferred).

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure, Power BI, and AI/ML data platforms (preferred).

• Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods, manufacturing, or supply chain domains (preferred).
