Data Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and evolve the organization's data architecture.

• Define architectures for Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, and analytical platforms.

• Create integration strategies between various sources and systems.

• Establish patterns and standards for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption.

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models.

• Define storage and processing strategies for large volumes of information.

• Evaluate and select data technologies and tools based on business needs.

• Design solutions with considerations for scalability, availability, performance, security, and cost.

• Establish guidelines for Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata, and Data Lineage.

• Work on access policies, data privacy, and security measures.

• Set standards and best practices for Data Engineering and Analytics teams.

• Review and support technical decisions related to data platforms and products.

• Identify opportunities for improvement and modernization of the existing architecture.

• Participate in defining technological roadmaps and the evolution of the data platform.

• Document architectures, technical decisions, standards, and design principles.

• Provide technical support to teams during the implementation of solutions.

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, BI, or Analytics.
