This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations that aid in executive decision-making.

• Provide actionable insights through advanced analysis and effective data storytelling.

• Contribute to presentations and reporting at the board level.

• Collaborate with technology and business teams to enhance automation and improve data infrastructure.

• Act as a subject matter expert on transportation data and analytics strategy across the enterprise.

• Develop and sustain scalable datasets, ETL processes, and data pipelines.

• Maintain data quality, governance, and reporting accuracy through well-documented processes.

• Collect and analyze data from various systems for strategic initiatives.

• Mentor and guide analysts by sharing best practices and fostering professional development.

• Work collaboratively across teams to devise efficient, data-driven solutions that deliver value to customers.

• Collaborate with senior leadership, engineering, and product teams to identify insights and support high-impact business initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a similar field.

• 5–8 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data warehousing.

• Proven ability to influence business decisions through data analysis and KPI development.

• Advanced analytical and statistical capabilities.

• Strong programming proficiency in Python or comparable languages.

• Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as Snowflake, SQL Server, or Oracle.

• Experience in building and maintaining ETL processes, data pipelines, and reusable datasets.

• Familiarity with dbt, Dagster, GitHub, and Git-based workflows.

• Proficient in using Power BI, Tableau, or Python-based reporting tools.

• Comfortable utilizing AI-enabled development tools.

• Solid understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, particularly with executive audiences.

• Highly organized with strong project management and multitasking skills.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• Collaborative mindset with a strong passion for mentoring and supporting team members.

• Master’s degree is preferred.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is an advantage.

• Familiarity with knowledge management and documentation tools like Notion is a plus.
